Description

Seam Tape FR is a flame retardant tape ideal for job sites that require fire resistant properties, including jobs with welding, soldering or grinding such as construction, general repair, remodeling, marine, shipyard, and manufacturing environments. This FR tape is made with a strong adhesive and flexible backing, making seaming and repositioning fast and easy. It also includes serrated edges for an easy tear. This liquid resistant seam tape is designed to be paired with any of Surface Shields floor protection products, both FR and non-FR.

This flame retardant polyethylene tape is formulated with flame retardant properties to meet NFPA-701 standards. Seam tape is not designed to adhere directly to floor surfaces. Test before use.

  • How to use seam tape
  • Peel back edge of Seam Tape FR and begin to unroll. Press down edge at beginning of area to be covered so Seam Tape FR adheres. Continue rolling onto area, applying pressure and smoothing down the film while doing so. Carefully cut end with a sharp edge. When finished, fold edge of the film back against the roll to use at a later time. Removal: roll up Seam Tape FR and discard.
